AN INTRODUCTION TO MUNAY KI

MUNAY KI - The Foundation Rites I-IV
The four foundation Rites launch us on our journey, through a process of willing acceptance, to the manifestation of who we truly are. We are all through our ancestral lineage, members of indigenous tribes. As we begin our receipt of these Rites we awaken a dawning realisation that this knowledge, we are seemingly encountering for the first time, has always been known to us. Just as who we are seeking to become, through Munay Ki, is who we have always been.
Through our initiation into these Rites we transmit, and receive into our system, the ‘seed’, the ‘potential’, of possibility each Rite opens up for us. Our subsequent dedication to the unpacking, germination and continued growing development of these ‘seeds of potential’ is what turns the possibility into the lived reality.
Rite One - The Healers
This Rite connects us to a lineage of Earth keepers from the past who come to assist us in our personal healing. We have tremendous spiritual assistance constantly available to us. If we hold the intention to heal our wounds these Healers will come and perform their sacred work of healing on us during our meditation and sleep time, healing the wounds of our past and of our ancestors.
If you are engaged in practical healing work with clients you can utilise this rite to enhance the work you do by focusing at your heart centre, and connecting with that place of personally disinterested unconditional love. Bring that focus up to your third eye and allow it to connect with and inform that centre engendering unconditional love fuelled clarity of vision and understanding. Bring this entire focus down to your belly and allow it to connect up with and inform your second chakra centre firing up ‘right’ action with clarity of vision and understanding that comes from a place of unconditional love.
Rite Two - The Bands Of Power
This Rite installs potential protection within your Luminous Energy Field. It is in the form of 5 energetic bands that encircle your body representing earth, water, fire, air and pure light of Spirit. Once installed and activated they act as filters, breaking down into one of the five elements any negative energies that come our way. The Bands of Power require 2 to 3 weeks to take, but once activated they are always ‘on’ and negative energy bounces off them unable to connect with and harmfully affect us. In a world currently manifesting considerable fear the bands provide essential protection. Additionally the Bands of Power enable us to energetically feed ourselves when we are in a place of nature.
After receiving this Rite, provided we follow through with dedication unpacking, germinating and growing the installed ‘potential’, they will be fully operational after three or four weeks. This allows us to disassemble any existing rituals we may have previously performed to keep us ‘safe’. The Bands of Power expand and contract in harmony with our surroundings. Expanding in nature and contracting in urban environments. Remembering this, post Munay Ki, when required to enter potentially challenging places or situations we can remind ourselves of the existence of the Bands of Power and, if it feels appropriate, push them outwards creating a larger personal protected space around us from within which to encounter the challenge.
Rite Three - The Archetypes
This Rite installs the seeds of seven Archetypes within our seven physical body chakras. Once unpacked, germinated and encouraged to grow these Archetypes help combust the psychic sludge that has built up in our chakras, allowing the chakras to shine with their original light as we acquire our rainbow body. This rite assists us in shedding our past as the serpent sheds her skin.
After receiving this Rite, provided we follow through with dedication unpacking, germinating and growing the installed ‘potential’, we can call upon specific Archetypes to assist us in specific circumstances of challenge or task completion through the use of intentional focus.
Rite Four - The Seer
This Rite installs filaments of light extending from our visual cortex to our third eye and our heart chakras. This re-wiring of our perceptual centres has the potential to awaken our ability to perceive the invisible world. It offers us the opportunity to perceive with more than our image-based eyesight.
After receiving this Rite, provided we follow through with dedication unpacking, germinating and growing the installed ‘potential’, we will be able to ‘see’ parts of ourselves previously hidden from view. Those parts of ourselves we may not have previously been prepared to recognise can now be seen with compassion and brought into the light for healing. Outside ourselves it similarly allows us to ‘see’ the world from a compassionate viewpoint and ‘see’ beyond the apparent to the underlying causes of situations and behaviours.

MUNAY KI - The Lineage Rites V-VIII
Having transmitted/received the four foundation rites of Munay Ki, which have served to strengthen and inform our Luminous Energy Field, we are in a position to take the next step in the process of becoming who we truly are. This step offers us the opportunity to align ourselves with, and take our place within, the lineage of Stewardship for the Earth and all that lives upon Her.
This part of the process opens up the potential for awakening the dormant pre-frontal lobe of the brain, referred to by science as the God brain. All spiritual personal development we undertake fires up neuropeptides within the brain and begins to build the electric web within the area. These next three Rites offer us the possibility of turning this aspect of ourselves, our God brain, on fully. As with the foundation Rites before, we transmit and receive into our system the ‘seed’, the ‘potential’, of each of these Rites. Our subsequent dedication to the unpacking, germination and continued growing development of these ‘seeds of potential’ is what turns the possibility into the lived reality.
As we work with these next three Rites we may find that one group we align ourselves to, during the transmission/reception process, remains with us in some form after the process has been completed. While the others will leave, fully prepared to return with assistance when called upon at a future time. This ‘remaining’ group offers you the possibility of recognising your personal place within the lexicon of creation. That, while we will at all times carry within ourselves the potential to be aligned with all the groups, our specific personal gifts and skill set have shaped us to be of most effective service to the whole in one particular area. This understanding may be apparent at the time of the transmission or at any time after as the ‘seeds’ develop fully within us.
Rite Five - The Day Keeper
This Rite takes the form of an energetic transmission that connects us to a lineage of Laika's from the past. It offers us the possibility, through our alignment with this lineage of Day keepers, to start the process of healing our inner feminine and of stepping beyond fear into the practice of peace.
Traditionally the Day keepers were the masters of the ancient stone altars found in the sacred places throughout the world, from Stonehenge to Machu Picchu. The Day keeper is able to call on the power of these ancient altars to heal and bring balance to the world.
According to lore the Day keepers called on the sun to rise each morning and accompanied her setting each evening. They made sure humans were in harmony with Mother Earth and honoured the ways of the feminine. The Day keepers, generally women, attended births and deaths, were the healers, herbalists and visionaries knowledgeable about the ways of the feminine Earth.
Rite Six - The Wisdom Keeper
This Rite takes the form of an energetic transmission that connects us to a lineage of Wisdom keepers, medicine men and women, from the past. It offers us the possibility, through our alignment with this lineage of Wisdom keepers, to start the process of healing your inner masculinity, of stepping outside linear time, of becoming steeped in the medicine teachings and of tasting infinity.
The legends say the ancient wisdom resides in the high mountains. The ice-covered peaks were revered as places of power, just as mountains around the world, from Mt. Sinai to Mt. Fuji to Mt. Olympus, have been honoured as places were humans meet the divine. The Laika have come down from the Andes to share Munay Ki. While across the world previously enclosed Buddhist monks and Hindu mystics are coming down from their mountainous places of seclusion and retreat to share their wisdom teachings with those ready and willing to receive them. The Wisdom keepers were men and women who defeated death and stepped outside of time. Their task has been to protect the medicine teachings and share them with others when appropriate. They hold and are willing to share the understanding that leads to the elimination of suffering.
Rite Seven - The Earth Keeper
This Rite takes the form of an energetic transmission that connects us to the lineage of Earth keepers, Archangels that are guardians of our galaxy. It offers us the possibility, through our alignment with this lineage of Earth keepers, to start the process of learning the ways of the seer and of dreaming the world into being.
The Earth keepers are reputed to have human form and be as tall as trees. They are connected to the stars and to the sun, our local star. They are the stewards for all life on Earth. After taking this Rite, as Earth keepers, we come under the direct protection of these Archangels and can summon their power when necessary to bring healing and balance to any situation. Our task, as theirs, is to be the living embodiment of peace.
The Rites Of Time To Come
With this next step we are offered the possibility of moving from our alignment to the past and current time to alignment with the time to come. With it we have the means to transform ourselves into, and join the ranks of, Luminous Beings; to develop the luminous energy field of Angels within this single lifetime, as opposed to over many generations. Existing Luminous Beings are humans who rose to the level of Angels. Some remain in human form while some are in spirit form. All have a mandate to protect those who are looking after the well-being of the planet.
Rite Eight - The Star Keeper
This Rite transmits the final codes for the new human, Homo luminous, into our luminous energy field. It is a Rite of passage as we take the quantum leap, from who we are now, to who we are becoming. We leave behind the stories that have shaped our lives so far to engage with pure energy, awakening the spirit consciousness within ourselves.
According to lore, when we receive this Rite, our physical bodies begin to evolve into that of Homo luminous. The ageing process is slowed down, we become resistant to diseases we were previously vulnerable to. In time we may find ourselves processing dis-ease more swiftly and at an energetic as opposed to physical level.
Reaching into the centre of creation we release ourselves from our current way of being to anchor ourselves to the time to come in order that we can be more effective in the here and now. The process of the Star keeper attunement takes us through a portal to connect with the time to come. In our daily lives whenever we pass through a doorway we have an opportunity to remind ourselves of this deep spiritual connection we are making.

MUNAY KI - The Creator Rites VIIII
Rite Nine - The Creator
This Rite previously transmitted rarely, and only directly from spirit to humans, was brought forth and gifted to the Inka elders in the Andes during the summer of 2006. As such it now offers us the possibility of human to human transmission for all those of us who find ourselves called to this work, and are prepared to take on the gift of love and responsibility it entails.
With this final Rite of Munay Ki we awaken the God-light within ourselves and acquire stewardship for all creation, from the smallest atom within a grain of sand to the largest cluster of galaxies within the Universe. The Creator opens up the opportunity to realise, at a cellular level, that spirit is not only acting through us, but as us. We can consistently access that place of oneness that we no longer assume resides outside but is, as it has always been, a fully integrate part of ourselves now no longer in its dormant state; newly awakened and ready for service to the highest good of all.
It is natural to feel a deep sense of mixed excitement and momentousness as we reach the moment of accepting the ninth Rite of Munay Ki; of stepping into being our true selves. And we hold within us a sense of the nature of the step we are about to take. For this transmission there is no preparatory visualisation journey, but it may be helpful to consider the following: as we look back at the gradual build up to this moment we have accessed, during the process of accepting the previous eight Rites, we can appreciate the beauty of that process and recognise that we are ready. In perfect balance with that preparation process the Creator Rite, once taken, will empower us to feed, energise and inform the previous eight Rites as we naturally radiate the light that has been a part of us all along.
The Q’ero, the last of the great Inca Shaman, call this Rite the ‘TAITANCHIS’ meaning the union of our celestial parents. It beautifully expresses the Creator principal of the coming together and parting that is the dance of the female and male union. The separation and merging of dualities that lies at the heart of the whole of the Universe and the continuing process of creation inextricably contained within and demonstrated by it.
Our lives after the Creator Rite will offer us constant opportunity to use in a practical way our understanding of this dance of union; the coming together and parting. We will find it in our choices over the moments we will engage fully with that place of deep oneness, to dream the dream of creation, and the moments we will separate, to play our practical part in the manifestation of that dream of love, peace and beauty. With acceptance of the Creator Rite we are the home we have always longed for, we are the union we have always sought, we are the One we have always been.
